Well, I thought that it is like exchange big one chance for super prize to little guaranteed chance of random Steam game. Well, as I see it, it's actually like having another "gift pile" chance that I already had, only without "coal" outcome and in rate 7:1. As my experience so far is 1 cheap indy game, 8 coals and 5 coupons for games that I don't need, I said what I said: it looks pretty poor.

There are two problems with it. First is to have this coupons you
already need to have a lot of games. If I cannot buy game now, where all this games came from? And second is time range. It starts from 2nd January and to 1st March. Cool, I can store it for whole two months! Definitely I will be much richer then!
And there is third problem, untested: does anyone has any
real discount offer? Not Valve, that affiliates virtually with all Steam sales and not indy game for 10$ before discount? Me and all my friends received only
that sort of discounts so far.
