Thanks 5th Horseman. Information very much appreciated..Between the three (2 english 1 french) translations and my dictionary I can get through the game well. I feel that there is room for a non literal translation though. For an English speaker an instruction that says "give bread to tramp..it gives you a tablet.Read tablet, ask tablet. leaves a bit to be desired. The french verb Poser should have been translated as "to put down" so Poser la tablette really says put down the tablet..This makes even more sense when playing the game as there is a limit to the number of items you can carry.

Go to this page:

Download Black Sect for Atari ST at the bottom of the page. In that zip there is an english walkthrough, the very same that I used. I had no problems when following it. Good luck!

Well I finally finished the game..Thanks Mr.D I found I was using a wrong key...Anyway I thought it was a good game with a certain creepiness about it especially at the end which was quite surprising.

Congrats! Glad I could help out and that you liked the game. Yeah it has a certain creepiness about it, very much in style with the italian gothic horrorfilms of the mid 60's early 70's I would say. And of the scary music from the band Jacula, also italian and from the same period. The game's front cover/main title screen (the hooded figure walking by) especially remind me of the first and second Jacula LP covers.

Avira Antivir tells me there's a virus in the zip, something called LZDamage.

Most likely false report. These old dos games do that a lot, because of old file types or something.
