No, not that Lucas, Lucas Fangames.

Whats happening in the world. In the last couple of days Kings Quest IX shut down and now, Lucas Fangames.

The group, responsible for some of the best loved fangames out there, like Maniac Mansion Deluxe, have released a statement on their website, saying 'Recent events have forced us to shut down our web appearance. We would like to thank all our fans and supporters who believed in us and our dreams.'

It remains unclear whether this was due to action by the Lucas Arts legal department, or down to a decision made by the group itself.

Your title for the topic indicates you have jumped to conclusions of your own...

Well... when we are done with out interview with the creator on AR, this will become clear

But yeah, it's sad.

Actually it will be one interview per game, but this sudden shutdown will be questioned as well.

A german site where Fans of the LucasArts games got together. They made some OK games based on the original LA games (like the NEW Adventures of Zak McKracken) and made remakes of some classics (Maniac Mansion Deluxe).

This wasn't done by LucasArts, and Indiana Jones and the Crown of Solomon is back in business thankfully.

Yeah, but The Crown of Solomon isn't a LucasFan game. I don't think it's ever been out of business, actually.

The thread title is deceiving. It should say "LucasFan Games", not "Lucas Arts"
