The main problem I have with the third episode is the insanely slow ship you're stuck with. Never made it past those

I loved Episode 3. The missions were actually hard, compared to the previous episodes where you hardly got blown up. The toughest one for me was the one where you had to escort a truck to a medical facility, the bastard kept getting blown up. If I tried to protect it, my shots hit it and BOOM

Still, I managed to finish the game in the same day I downloaded it. So freakin' addictive, and the story's awesome and keeps you wanting to know what happens next (and the insults are so funny)

I'm stuck on that mission at the moment...

PS: What's the twist?

That mission requires a little different approach then the rest. Don't go trigger-happy and keep trying - you'll eventually finish it. BTW, it's probably the single hardest mission in the game.

Nope. Find out yourself, otherwise it's no fun.

Darn! I think the main problem is the blockades and the slow ship you've got. Anything would be better. Hornet?

Ps: Remake coming along good, Problems with some images and movement though.

The ship isn't that bad, remember that your gunfire can destroy ships before they've even entered the screen, so you can keep the road clear for the convoy.

Yup, and that's the key to getting through the level. Use satellite view to see the ships coming at you before you have them on the game screen and destroy them with ranged fire. Not too complex.

The only problem with not seeing what you're hitting is you might also hit the convoy. And even with the slow ship, if you drive carefully enough you can get ahead of the convoy in the start. Tricky but helpful

The convoy displays a bit differently on the radar, and always follows the same path. It's not too difficult to avoid hitting them.

Is it me or does both episode 1 and 2 have a "defend the hangar" mission?

PS: How do I hack the savegame? I'm a bit confused.

EDIT: Ah, forget it. I figured it out.
