Default [nagelfar] Bad Company

I played this game about 20 (yes, really) years ago, perhaps even more.

Stuff I remember: SciFi themed, probably taking place on some alien planet. Two players support but also one player possible. It might have been on an C64 or even an Amiga but might also be something completely different

The players where soldiers of some kind walking towards the horizon, there were different kinds of weapons and monsters (I think I remember snakes?) appearing on the horizon, growing taller as they moved towards you. One of the ammos might have been a bouncing shot but I'm not sure about that.

The idea is close to Space Harrier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOH68OsvOEI) only much slower, you stay on the ground and the view is more skewed.

Anyone got a clue on what that might be?

Interesting... isometric view along with enemies approaching on horizon...

Is it any similar to Cabal or Narco Police?

Was it Rambo 3 Arcade? There were all kinds of enemies approaching, some alien but I don't remember if snakes were among them, and at the end there was a giant Space Harrier to fight against. Two-player supported.
And Rambo could be considered some kind of "soldier" *cough* if you were young and didn't know the movies yet.

Oh yeah, that Rambo, haven't seen it in a while... Actually arcades was the first thing that came to my mind as well considering the age, but I forgot about this one. I don't know a C64 with that kind of perspective.

Perhaps isometric is not the 100% correct expression, its just the best I have which also lines up best with my memory, which is quite hazy.
It looked similar to Cabal but not to Narco Police.

I'm not even sure it was C64, could be Amiga, could be something entirely different. Tried contacting the guy I played with but he has moved so I have no way to contact him anymore.

3D World Runner is also quite similar but the game I remember was not in this comic style and there were definitly weapons.

Thanks for the great responses and freedback so far!

Ok, so after some time I finally found it. If anyone is interested, take a look at Bad Company:
