Gah, I've never heard of most of these people. The only fellow here I have heard of is Micheal Bay, but he won't be helping this film any. I would say this film is going to utter <censored>, but it doesn't have Englund or Craven so that was already given...

If they manage to make it more creepy than the cheesy 80's movies of Freddy Krueger it may turn out to be something neat. Though I tend right now to second the opinion in the first post.

What? It still hasnt premiered?

In any case, I say the same I said when I saw it first time: To me it looks like a solid remake of the first movie. Nothing more or less. The first one was good, but I rather enjoyed the more cheesy Freddie movie.

Guide to modern horror movies:

1) Make a decent horror movie.

2) Make into a franchise with lots of crappy sequels.

3) Wait ten years then make a crappy remake.
