It counts, it's a miniature movie, it has a zombies, they are dancing, who cares!
Dead Alive is the best on the list, but there really should be a "Other" option.

P.S. - Wait a second, Braindead and Dead Alive are the same exact film! Why put them up there twice?

@ Oberon: And why did you include "Dead Alive" AND "Braindead"? It's the same movie, only different titles.

hmm? thats new to me.. well i have to confess that i've never watched "Dead alive"
so i couldn't know that both are one and the same movie..

@Moogle: Who told you it's hardly a "B" movie? Evil Dead is the throne of "B" movies, in the days when films cost up to 10 million dollars, a couple of hardly adult people use one hundred thousand dollars saved from a student film and a bunch of dubious investors, to create a movie that is now a cult classic, k:
No No, I meant that its hardly just a B movie, I like Bruce Campbell, I've only seen Army of Darkness (yay for campy humor! :w00t: ) But tons of other people say Evil Dead 1 and 2 is good, and it will be interesting to see him in a less comedic role (the first one is supposed to be more horrorish right?)

I removed "Dead Alive" (since "Braindead" had got a vote).

I voted for Shaun, btw. As it's funny and the only film of those which I I've seen (apart from Evil Dead II, but I wasn't paying any attention to it).

thats b-movie humour and it doesnt bothered me.. maybe a bit obscure for nowadays movie standard. But thats an Old school Z-Slasher movie and one of the best old school horror movies of all time..

yeah shaun of the dead is an english movie thats why the movie is called shaun and not shawn .. of the dead.. black english humour as it's best..

Er, it didn't even get to the good parts.
Perhaps this is why movies seem bad to you, you never finish them.

Oh, and don't complain about the tree scene, people have been whining about it far too many times. I didn't like it myself, but it's pointless to dub the whole movie dissapointing when you only didn't enjoy one scene.

None mentioned here compare with "I Walked with a Zombie (1943) or even "White Zombie (1932)".
Because there are no "we've come back from the dead to eat your flesh"-zombies in them... which are the ones we are talking about here.
