i downloaded it a while back and once i install it i get this could not find file
(null) in file file\fileflastlex line 38 junk i have a xp home edition and tried
running the game using dosbox 7.2. how do i fix the problem
cause im dying to play crusader havent played it since 99.

make a screenshot of your crusader directory and tell us how big is the whole directory in it in size

and why is this not in troubleshooting yet?

That's where you screwed up, the old download for Crusader-No Remorse from AB doesn't need to be installed, it is pre-configured to run in dosbox.

I also have that old download so I tested it.
First thing to do:delete your C:\crusa and start over again.

In the archive (Crusader 1 - No Remorse.zip) there is a folder named crusader.
Unzip the WHOLE folder in c:\oldgames, so you get:

c:\oldgames\crusader\

Now, run dosbox and input:
mount c c:\oldgames
c:
cd crusader
crusader

Runs flawless in dosbox 0.72 , default params.

Again: do not run install.
