I hate the arcade scenes. I defeated the boars, but Black Knight is impossible to defeat!

This is a perfect game! It is a bit small though! k:

I have finished it a few weeks ago!

However is it really abandonware? I have searched high-and-low for this game on the web (before finding them in my home! ) and i always hit a dead-end.

However! Play this game! It is absolutely perfect! :w00t: :w00t:

As for the black knight, i believe that his attacks are not random. If you put the shield down the first time and you make a hit, the next time put the shiled up and left and he will never knock you down. To knock down the black knight try to change your aim a little bit before he comes near you and aim the edges of his shield! That should do it, if i remember correctly!!! :Titan:

How can i upload the manual?? (ALmost 8 MBs)

Enjoy this game! It has the best puzzles ever! And everything is so linked together! Have fun!

This was my favorite adventure game of all time. Or at least, the one I played the most as a kid.

The Black Knight is a pushover, you can take him down in three rounds. Move your lance to one side, and when the Knight starts charging, shift your lance to the other. He doesn't adjust his shield (or only slightly does) from where you were first aiming. Just make sure your own shield blocks him.

First post here and I just wanted to sing the praises of this game. I played it when it was first released and it was in my eyes perfect. I just rated it a 5 and I weclomed the challenges it offered.

Man did I love this game! My friend and I played it, and because we didn't have the manual (I heard the hints were there) we had to try and figure out all those riddles and puzzles by ourselves. I remember sifting through encyclopedias and reading about all kinds of greek mythology to get the answers. Definitely recommended!

COOL! I loved this game when it was released! All esoteric and obscure as it was (and still is) made a nice change from the man in the tacky white suit that's for sure
In response to E Hal, it is abandoned, and apart from finding it here now (Yay!) Christy Marx - the creator of this and Conquest of the Longbow, has it (and the other) for download on her site because Sierra had finished with them and she'd heard many people with the same complaint... She's also got a really long strange blog about cats attached to her site, but that's something else entirely.
Anyways, thanks again Guys, I loved, and still do love this game k:

Can someone help me with a saving problem? :/

This game seems great, but I can't play far because I can't save the game anywhere. If I try to change the savegame directory, anything I try, it says "invalid folder" or something... Anyone else had this problem? Please help!
