Oh this is promising. i like the first part, only didn't like the graphics.
I hope it will work well on my computer.

Ok this thing doesn't seem to work. What happens is that it throws me right back to the dos command promt. nothing happens. no messages nothing. i tried the setup and it completes it but then nothing. i tried with pc speaker, still nothing. was running it in dos.
The game that i donwloade consists out of 7 files of which one is setup.exe, one is game.exe, one is pb.cm (seems to be the setup save file), gurutexts (little message form crackers) and 3 pbdisk.bin files. is that all? shouldn't there be more? and those .bin files look mighty suspicious to me. :help:

I liked the game but unfortunately repetitive after a while.
Still this one is becoming a classic (in the sense that many of us gamers have at least once played the game) so go download it  |

As a kid I really didn't see the appeal nor knew exactly what I had to do. For one, paperboys don't exist in Europe in general. It's usually the mail that delivers the papers. Also, I had no clue why I always ran out of newspapers. Few games back then had any similar limit, and the word "subscriber" was alien to me.
Still, I can reasonably enjoy it now. It's a good game, although sometimes it's up to chance what will happen, meaning that some things are impossible to avoid. |
