That reminds me: is there any way of telling how many reviews have been translated into other languages (other than counting, I mean)?

anyone noticed the almost double rate of adventure games? and low number of sports games?

Abandonia is turning into Adventureonia.

Thanks for the list, Kon-Tiki. k:

Funny, I thought there were more than enough translators (except for Icelandic, perhaps), but apparently I was wrong...

Well I recently submit two reviews: one arcade, one adventure.
But the fact of the matter is: we love adventuregames.
I think the two most flourishing genres in abandonware are adventure and RPG simply because (and this goes mostly for adventuregames) there aren't a lot of them nowadays, so we return to the glorydays when adventuregames were popular and you didn't have to be a member of a special newspaper and such things in order to know whats going on with adventuregames. (and PC gamer giving an okay adventuregame like Moment of Silence a 14% doesn't help much either)

You also have to take into account that the late 80ies, early 90ies were the heydays of graphical adventure games! it was probably the most popular genre at the time, so everyone and their sister released huge series of them!
