Well, you download ppjoysetup.zip...unpack.

Run setup.exe

I think you can create start-menu-icons but anyways, you can start the intalled driver-interface from the windows control panel.

There you add a new, virtual joystick (and go through the windows-process(es) for finding a new hardware).

After that, you have to go back to the downloaded archive, where you find ppjoymouse.exe (and ppjoykeyboard.exe, if you like).

Whilst that .exe is running the mouse transmits to the virtual joystick which in turn acts as a real joystick, and your game should work...in theory.
