But occasionally (read guessing screenshot game) I PRESS the "Site Navigation" button which leads to "http://abandonia.com/"

And thus to the Portuguese language..

why not click on latest news rather than site navigation?

Easier to just click the site navigation than to wait for the menu to pop out..
