Default MD5 Checksum for Games

I want to suggest providing md5 checksums for games and all extra stuff, for example in an extra text file for each game.
First it makes download more "secure" and one can be sure not to have a corrupted file. Second you have (if you haven't already) a way to keep games protected over time.

If you don't have an easy way to create md5 for all games at one go, I will be willing to create md5 checksums for all stuff at site.

What do others think?

I think it would be hard to extract a corrupted zip file. So if the extraction fails => file is corrupt.

Making the md5 isn't a problem. but adding them all as extra is a lot of work.

You are right, if one only wants to avoid mistakes of bits and bytes on hard disk, the crc check of zip should do.
