Didn't she mention in the car with Togusa that she is a MACHINE except for her ghost/brain? (I'm too lazy to wind my tape to confirm my memory.) So you even don't have to see her (her body) bursting around at that terrific monster Fuchikoma to know that.

But if you saw the uncensored version of the manga you'd know that her body - even if completely artificial - is fully functional in all aspects of social and personal life (wink-wink, nudge-nudge). |

:w00t: Looking if my version is uncensored... But I remember that this is also mentioned in a movie or TV series.

These are my favorite English TV animes in order---
Fullmetal Alchemist [Fantasy/Action] About two brothers, one who lost an arm and leg, and one who's soul is bound to a body of armor, who live in a world where machinery doesn't rule as the main science, but alchemy, the ability to change one thing into something else. They journey looking for the fabled Philosopher's Stone to return to normal, but strange beings have other things in mind. What looks like a lighthearted show becomes a very sad story. Eureka Seven [Mech Action/Romance] Renton Thurston is bored with life, until one day a band of mercenaries attacks his town. there he meets a young girl, who is not all she seems, and immediately joins the crew, who fight with mechs who surf the skies on surfboards. Very stylish show. The first 19 episodes focus on character development, and after that are the 31 epic episodes which focus on a great story and cool fights. Don't forget the development of a mushy relationship. Oh, and child beating. :w00t: Samurai Champloo [Hiphop Samurai/Action/Comedy] Story about two samurai who accompany a girl on a search for the sunflower samurai. It's by the creator of Cowboy Bebop. Don't forget some of the best swordfights in anime, and the stylish hiphop theme. Cowboy Bebop [Blues Bounty Hunters/Action/Noir] Noir action story about a group of bounty hunters, each with a strange past. I can't really describe this one, lets just say it's full of style. Good for those who like the blues too. Here's a couple songs from the show to wet your appetites. The Real Folk Blues(my favorite) Tank Paranoia Agent [Symbolic/Horror/Suspense/Psychological/Mystery] Psychological horror story by the "Japanese Hitchcock" and master of suspense who directed Perfect Blue. those who are seeking an escape. Those who have problems they can't cope with. There is a way out. That way is death at the hand of Little Slugger, the young buy who skates around with a golden baseball bat. But is this deadly escape false or does it truly bring happiness. Just who is Little Slugger? Is he real? Or..... A very smart show, with some very impressive and sometimes epic music. The Haunting Opening Credits Death Note (soon to come to Adult Swim on 10/20/07): [Psychological/Horror/Mystery/Epic] Ace Student Light Yagami finds a notebook dropped by a rogue shinigami. This notebook enables the user to kill anyone with a heart attack. Light decides to rid the world of criminals and become Justice itself. But the world's police forces have banded and have hired the worlds greatest detective, L, to track down this supernatural killer. Also known as the first anime to make eating potato chips or writing in a notebook look epic. Not to mention the intense battle of wits between antagonist and protagonist. |
