Default First place you drove alone?

Yesterday I got my driver's license (finally, seeing as I turn 17 next month). Since I will be getting my name officially on the insurance tomorrow, that's when I'm going to drive alone for the first time. I've been thinking about how great it must feel to drive alone for the first time, especially after all the time of having to get rides from parents or friends for so long.

So, out of curiosity, where was the first place all of you went after getting your license?

I will tell you guys when I get my license. (will still take a while)
But most likely I'll just go pretty much nowhere on the first night I have a car that's allowed to go on the road. (insurance etc.)

To the glass recycling containers.
And I couldn't get the old Diesel Mercedes from my parents running when I wanted to leave cause I learned on a gasoline engine car...
But I made it in the end...

Hah, lol @ "finally, seeing as I turn 17 next month"
Here, you have to be 18 to get a DL, and I had to wait until I was almost 19 to get mine.

Yep. Here you have to be 18 also.
I only got my license at 23. I never owned a car and had no perspective on ever getting one lol. But I thought it would be a good thing to learn. Once my stedad went abroad because of his job and lent me his car. The first place I drove by myslef was to the airport. A friend of mine wanted to say goodbye to one of his buddies who was moving to Italy. It was.... an adventure.

Edit: Driving is my city is mostly an adventure in itself. Doesn't matter how good of a driver you are.
