Need help running Ascendancy in DOSBox
I'm a n00b with DosBox and Dos in general... so bare with me.
I've gotten Ascendancy to run just fine, no problem with audio, lag, nothing like that... except I can't save my game at all. It always said it can't find the disk or something to that effect. I'm using the default DB settings I guess, since I haven't changed any config file or anything. Also, I always mount my game folder as drive Y: and it's saved to my hard drive which is C: if any of that matters. Thanks in advance for any response. Also; sorry if this is considered hijacking the thread or something, I figured my question has to do with the topic. |

I splitted your post and made you a separate topic.
You should really mount the drive in DOSBox as C:. It doesn't matter that you already have a real C: in your computer since DOSBox is an emulator. If it is still not working, try creating a folder named SAVEGAME in your Ascendancy folder. |
