Default Trying to install Rise Of The Dragon

Maybe I'm just silly, but I can't manage to get the game to work. I thought I just needed to join the split files, but when I try to join, it just makes "VOLUME". Anyone have any ideas? lol

I'm assuming that was sarcasm lol. I don't know what one would need to know. I figured someone that had downloaded the game from this site would know what I had to do I guess.

As for more information, the folder contains VOLUME.001 - VOLUME.007 and VOLUME.VGA. Dragon.exe, install.com and resource.cfg

Don't run install. Run dragon.exe
By the looks of it you should only need to run install to reconfigure the sound if it doesn't work.

Running dragon does nothing. In windows it makes a black screen. In DosBox it says it's an illegal command.

Not in the right dir in dosbox and/or wrong mount.
When you input dir /w at your dosbox prompt you must see a listing with dragon.exe in it.

Read the stickies to know how to set up dosbox correctly.

[Edit]
This is what I meant:

If needed run install(try first without running install):

Graphics: VGA 256 colors
Sound: Roland MT-32 or LAPC-1

input dragon
and tadaaaa

Runs flawless on a default dosbox 0.72 config.
