Hi all! I just downloaded that game, and it works fine. But I can't save. each time I want to, I'm asked to enter a certain word from a certain page of the manual, but the manual aviable for Download here hasn't got any pages :shock:

This game is really hard to find on the net. I will not give in. I will find another version. One that works, and does not ask stupid questions before allowing saving.

(Strange that the game works for some, but not for others...)

The manual does not work :/. Does anyone know of another link to the manual? Because I am unable to create my own character without it.

And is the manual for Blade of Destiny also available somewhere?

Can't you download it, or is it something written in the manual?

Unfortunately, I wrote that manual myself because I could not find it on the net...

As for the manual for Blade of Destiny, it is on it's way...
Just hold in there for a couple of days, and I should have it fixed.

Sorry for not being clear enough. I meant, the download link for the Realms of Arkania: Star Trail manual does not work. Internet Explorer gives me an error and flashget a rend blimp.

Hmmm, couldn't it be possible to host the actual (english) version of the game AND the other (German) one? The fact that you can't save in the English one makes it pointless to play it... so, if anybody could host it it would be fine, altough a working English one would be great.

Maybe its because you have formatted your drives in ntfs, and the installer only can see fat32 fat16 drives?

Hi all!

Umm...does anyone else get asked something like: "Page 13, Line 8, word 4: _____________ " when you try to save a game?

I made 6 chars, played for awhile and then went to save. Of course, I didn't type that thing (3 times) and it exited back to dos(box) O_O

This is something we discovered after the game was put on the page... :?

I am working on the case, right now. It is I who uploaded the game to the sit, so it is I who is responsible for the error! :x

I would suggest you download Blade of Destiny instead, since it is the first game in the trilogy... and the Realms of Arkania trilogy is loosely connected. This will give me some more time to fix the problem with the copy-protection.

I am, as I write this, downloading over 7 different Star Trail games on eMule, and I am also searching the net for a version that is save-able. I'm also, thanks to FreeFreddy, trying to crack the game with some files he has given me from the original game.

So I am hoping that I will soon find or get a solution to the problem.
