The two triangles are the exact same size, and are made up of the exact same shapes, just in differant positions.

THE MIND BOGGLER: Where the F**K does that hole in the bottom one come from???

it almost looks like there is more to the picture. What is the writing saying next to the image?

Ok, I'll bite The green triangle is much smaller than the red, so when their positions are reversed, it frees up more space along the bottom section nearest to where the green triangle now lies in the second picture. Also there is now less space near where the red triangle is placed at the top of triangle. The inner designs have changed in placement to compensate for the movement of the triangles and their different sizes.

i honestly dont know where it came from... found it on my comp (which is shared by flatmates [3] so i find weird stuff on it). The writing says pretty much what i opened the thread with. if u have the answer....

If you want the full pic pm me. on it there is a grid, and the inner designs are clearly the same on both. i have a few mind bogglers and ill cycle thru them eventually.
