Nope, it's none of these unfortunately. I'm still looking, so far I've made no headway. I'm starting to think it was one of those "Only on AOL by a novice programmer" kind of games. Forever lost to the internet. Ah well, I'm gonna keep trying. If I find it I'll let ya'll know. I'm open to hearing more suggestions though.

Nope, not this one but I think it's newer. So that would narrow it down a bit, also it's a windows game, not DOS.

I'm afraid there are more shareware and/or freeware games of the type you're looking for, and some may be rather obscure.

Just in case, check out Metal Knights and StarKnights.

Ah Metal Knights, I remember that oldie. Not the game I'm looking for but I was going to try to remember that one at some point. Thanks for reminding me of that one. I'm guessing the one I'm looking for is gone to the vapors of time.
