perhaps you could take a scan of the magazine and pass it to Kosta. I'm sure he'd appreciate it. Either he hangs the scanned paper in his bedroom or puts the image up on the website... :P

100 games not many? He probably does not understand that only very few sites have more then 100 games and those that do are usually not catering to the PC but to games consoles and C64 type computers.

I found the site while searching for adventure games. I landed on HOTU first and was a bit put off by all the threats posted by the owner. When I posted a query in the forum, I was answered by a girl who informed me that I'd mis-used a word. I pointed out that I hadn't and she replied nicely, apologising. But, still, I could feel a cold wind blowing through the place.

Then....this is turning into a novel... I landed here and posted a query and immediately received two helpful responses from FreeFreddy and Tom. It felt like home. *the string section plays here*

I found the site because I was looking for UFO: Enemy Unknown that would run under Windows XP.*

I remember the search query I used was:
UFO Enemy Unknown Windows XP Download

Abandonia was the first result, and I have stayed put ever since.
Exactly the same here. I still feel I owe the site for hosting XP version.

Always happy to help (if I'm able).

That's one of the things I like about Abandonia, other forums have 100,000+ member and you never get to know any of them because there are too many people posting ramdom things and just a few people with about 3000 posts. But here everything is calmer and you get used to people, the forum does not have 10,000 threads so it takes hours to find something specific, and that's the way I like it.
