Seems really good but the controls are infuriating. The command box keeps flicking on and off and I haven't a clue how to save my game!

Who do I save my game by the way?

By pressing escape and selecting save the game. My question is: how can I load the game. My saved game dissappeared. Beside the crapy menu this is really pissing me off. :ranting:
It has something to do with the failure of the .sav file creation. Cant figure out whats wrong.

OK. I got it! You just have to create Save directory manually and everything works fine.
Geeeeze.

My uncle still has this somewhere for Amiga. For some reason it kept crashing on me when I met Dino on the Soviet Express.

May I make a note: Big Red Adventure has always been a bitch to get running. Even in real DOS mode, you often have problems with the mouse cursor being invisible and other graphical issues. Since the latest DOSBOX version, this has been fixed.

Note however that this is the RIPPED version of Big Red Adventure. I'd love to get my hands on the full thing, but it's damn near impossible to find.

I have the original CD for this game! Bought it in denmark some years ago.. Never played it 'cause I gave up on the invisible cursor...

Hi all, ()V

How to run this game in DosBox 0.65 using Dfend V2B2?

I have run setup (SB, ADLIB, Recognize VGA card, English) and done.

Then I run TBRA.bat which opens a window with dos commands and thats it, no game.

I have tried ADV.EXE and got the game running, but with NO mouse and NOT in English.

Please help me on this one, and thanks a Million.

Ken.
email me on (kenshiro_2kDon't post your e-mail adress in open like that. Spambots can get wind of it and start flooding it with various junk.

I never tried using D-fend, but it should work there too.

Try without D-fend.

Download this game (you don't have to install or change any settings), run DOSBox 0.65 and start the game.
The commands are as follows:

mount c X:\ (the drive you put in your game - you can also give the name of the folders after \).
c:
CD TBRA (that's where the game is)
TBRA (it should run).

For any further information - check DOSBox tutorial (it's on the main page) and there's really no need for D-fend it only compicates things (DOSBox is easy enough to use without it).
