![]() Can't play them from ZIPs, unless they're absolutely self-contained.

![]() if you want to keep it on your school pcs you can also rename the extension and it will still be runable. for example,
you have c:\game\abc.exe rename it to abc.pexe and then open your comand line cd to the directory where the game is (cd c:\game) and write ./abc.pexe or just create a batch file inside the same directory with line ./abc.pexe or a shortcut.. anything of course, if the game is looking for more exe files you're screwed and have to play it off usb

![]() Either that or add the game files - complete with directory listing - to a disc image like .iso.
That'd be like using a .zip like you said, but you could play it through daemon. Only snag is that any disc imaging software will probably need an .exe to run, though you could combine that with _russ' idea of renaming the files to pexe. You'd not have to worry about a game's dependant .exe's then - or Dosbox or anything. You could just play games that launch with .com, too... But: I'd go with running the games off an external HDD or one of these so-called "flash drives". You flash bastard. --- Flash (dun dun dun dun) a-ah Savior of the Universe Flash He saved everyone of us Flash He's a miracle Flash King of the impossible He's for everyone of us Stand for everyone of us He save with a mighty hand Every man every woman Every chill-he's a mighty Flash Just a man With a man's courage Nothing but a man But he can never fail No-one but the pure at heart May find the Golden Grail Flash by Queen (featuring Brian Blessed laughing HO HO HOH HOO!) --- Incidentally, your school techie sounds like a prick. You should smuggle games into school just to display some kinda rebellion against his tyranny. Good thing he's not scanning for MPEG's though, else you couldn't watch so much porn. |

![]() For some reason, Dansguardian isn't working on my PC lately
Otherwise I couldn't dl zips, exe's, mp3's, mp4's, avi's... Silly bugger never heard of rar and mkv extensions, though And I can't help wondering what qualifications Flash Gordon has for being saviour of the Universe... Don't see any ability to walk on water, calm the seas with a gentle rebuke, feed five thousand men with five loaves and two fish... |
