i'd give you another hint, read eveyrthing from one file and write into other. in case you hit the time, just replace it with previous one

try this:
http://92.243.3.242/pb.exe

run like this:
pb.exe <broken_file >new_file

You probably have to edit the first and the last record.
Be sure to check the results.

um, thanks very much, but for some reason it produces an empty .srt file, nothing in it. What could be the problem?

can you post a small sample file then ?
I worked from that screenshot,

(I assumed that between each captation a return is present)

Code:
1
0:0
hello
world

2
1:2 ->123
hello again!
like that

AWESOME! It worked perfectly! I appended it to the rest of the subtitle, and everything is fine. I can finally finish my traslation. Thank you!

BTW, is that the same program?
Because, for some reason, it produced and empty file when I tried to use it...

is that space behind the ">" deliberate? Because there is none behind the "<".

This is that I typed:

Code:
pb.exe <zeit.srt >fixed.srt
There is no space behind the second mark. Maybe that was the problem. Or some obscure compatibility issue, I dunno.
