I don't think working as a sales clerk will be a problem
It's just that when I'm done with school I'd really like to work with something that's relevant to my education. Like signal processing, computational science or programming. |

I used to work at my dad's gas station and I made about 5 an hour myself, of course I ate and drank about 30 dollars worth of candy and soda an hour since that was when I was a teenager and had a bottomless pit for a stomach
my dad pointed that out when I told him the minimum wage went up I will be sure to drop in for pizza if I am ever in the neighborhood I also used to be a dish washer at my friends Tavern, tested video game software, played in online tournaments (that later got in trouble with taxes and disbanded LOL), and took care of disabled folks in their home. Besides the writing I still take care of one patient still, but more of a favor than anything else since she can't afford hospice treatment and her family lives far away. |

My first real job was at a nursin home.
I worked in the kitchen, on a department where there were 17 people with alzheimer. I prepared the food, helped them eating, and cleaned afterwards. During school vacations i also cleaned their rooms and bathrooms. (Each person had his/her own bathroom with a shower and toilet) |

You know, I applied for that same job but they said I didn't have the experience.

On a brighter side, you didn't have to worry about them complaining about your cooking skill, as they didn't remember anything of what they ate.
