Problem is that my favorite Doom isn't in the poll.
It ain't Doom neither Doom3.
It's the mixture of both.

DOOM 3 - Classic Doom 3 v1.1 FINAL
Doom (1) maps ported to Doom3.

You get Doom gameplay on Doom3 graphics.
And of course multiplayer included. Yéééééééhaw.

The mod is of course freeware, those who have Doom3 really should try this out.
(You need the full Doom3 1.3 to be able to use that mod.)

damn, I swapped doom 3 for quake so I haven't got it anymore otherwise I would have checked that out ,

I appreciate that this is an old-school gaming community - and I personally voted Doom 2 because it's just one of my favourite games ever - but I wish people would stop attacking Doom 3 so much. It's a good game, and I can give you one reason it deserves to be a part of the Doom franchise - it's scary as hell sometimes. Remember how when you were playing Doom 2 you'd be wandering along, then come around a corner and - ARGH zombie in the face! Doom 3 has plenty of that, I jumped a lot while playing it.

The first Doom because it was new and scared the crap out of me. My shoulder muscles used to be sore from tensing up so much. Loved the face in it too! On of my old fav's.
