When I try and run DOSBox i get this error in it:

Exit to error: Can't init SDL DirectInputDevice::SetCooperativeLevel: Unknown DirectInputError error: 0x80004001

Does anybody have any idea on what to do? I am using Windows XP Service Pack 2 and I have restored the autoexec.nt so thats OK, but does anybody have any idea, or a similar problem?

Like you said, I do have one, and I was just about to remove it by going to the Device Manager, but I got a new error "The selected file cannot be found". Does anybody know which file(s) the Device Manager uses? Any help would be grateful!

Edit: Found out now, no need to reply, if anybody else would like to know the files, these were the files i restored: devmgmnt.msc devmgr.dll and devmgr.chm

devmgr.chm is not essential as it is just a help file.

Great site btw!! :bye:
