I was playing indoor cricket last night and while we were in the field I had a pretty big collision with one of the batters... he was twice the size of me, easily, so I went down pretty hard onto my right shoulder, I got straight up but my shoulder was a little stiff... I shook the guys hand and finished the game. I had some trouble driving home, and getting into bed and when I woke this morning it was very stiff, had a lot of trouble getting up.
I saw the docter a few hours ago and he said there could possibly be a crack in the collar bone, getting an x-ray tomorrow morning... I'm a little worried, I've never broken a bone or fractured any and I tend to take a lot of damage when I play sports. So what bones have ye all broken or fractured, if any? |

Surprisingly, none at all. With many situations where by all means I should have broken at least a few

Likewise, I can think of three occasions, at least, where I would have thought my fingers should have been broken.
And that's quite a record there russ. |

I never broke aynthing in my life, the worst injury was probably when I was when I fell of a swing and cut my face, lots of stitches were needed...

I broke my leg (right leg, I think) when I was 2 or 3, but that's the only bone I've ever broken. In 1995 I severely sprained my left ankle playing volleyball, and the doctor said it probably would have been less painful if it had broken. I have a picture somewhere of both of my feet a day or two after I sprained it, and it's quite nasty-looking.

I broke, shattered, smashed to smithereens my arm, just below the elbow. That's the prize you win when you are a drunk idiot. Surgery and a few nuts and bolts (literally), a few gallons of morphine and loads of headslaps later, it's almost as good as new.

I've never broken a bone in my life, I think. I do lose control over my right arm sometimes, I can barely lift it somedays, because of my right shoulder. I hope nothings broken or crippled there.
A friend of mine was riding a bike years back with both his arm broken. You can't imagine his great effort, he drove better than some people who hadn't broken any bones. LOL |
