Since the polls tied today on Easter, the ending day for the poll, I decided to mix the themes. So the theme begins now.

EASTER
Holiday Horror and Macabre

Requirements:
Size: 250 by 250 or less
Pizels: No requirement

It can be as bloody or gory or creepy or holidayrific as you want. Voting will be as such:

Best design
Best idea
Best color
Best use of theme

This contest will begin on this day and end on the end of the month. Voting will then be one week long. Enjoy.

Well, I suppose nobody really has an idea for an Eastern-Horror sprite.

At least I don't.

And I lack the skills to make one anyway.

It can just be an evil chicken or rabbit...it doesn't have to be super detailed or super thought out, it cna be any size or number of pixels under the requirements, it doesn't have to be exactly the requirements,

If you guys delved into the Christ-is-Risen part of Easter, I'm sure you could think of a horror-laden twist to it.... but that kind of theme could offend some, I'm sure so, maybe you're better off not.

Alternatively, you could maybe consider the actual roots of the Easter tradition in pagan origins (which is not very surprising, as so many Christian holidays are ripped from pagan traditions.)

Religion, generally being at least somewhat interconnected with the supernatural, has always been fertile ground for macabre tales.

Sorry, but most of the holidays are ripped from the pagan traditions. And not even nearly all of the christian holidays have anything to do with its origin, judaism, and some of them are simply faked christian to keep the converted people happy with their traditions.

All right, keep this on topic, Juni. It doesn't have to be an animation, just ONE picture of a sprite of anything relating to the topic, which is a horrific easter...heres an example of a sprite, I guess I should've posted an example a long while back.. k:
now your sprites don't don't have to be detailed, heck they can be 8 bit :P they just have to fit this theme, I hope this clears some questions up for you all k:

P.S. You can draw something else besides a giant chicken....:P
