Could it have been DBQuest? It was an early amateur CRPG which was sometimes conflated with the game construction set that it was made with (since the former is the only real example of a successful project made with the latter).
If that's not it, could you give some idea as to how crude (or complex) the game was? Graphically and mechanically, and preferably in contrast to previous examples (Ultima 5, Exile series, DBQuest). If you have any idea how you might have obtained the game, that would also be useful. I'm also reminded of Realmz, but while the Mac version of that came out in 1994, the Windows release wasn't until 1999... PS: Did you find the adventure game you were looking for? |
