After playing all 3 Xcom games I recommend Laser Squad Nemesis from the same persons who created the games, the Gollops brothers.

Laser Squad and Rebelstar Raiders are both still very playable, too.

Offsite and non- abandonware i really like Sims 2, Civ 3, Longest Journey, Monkey island and Arcanum.[Note only action game Ive ever played was Thief 2-The Metal age. Really liked it ] |
