I wonder if it is possible to add filtering capabilities to IPB?

There are many topics what are hard to read, because they contain irrelevant, outdated entries or otherwise annoying chit-chat. If users could give _personal_ ratings to those postings - they will be able to filter thread easily.

Issues mentioned in the forum can be fixed with time, but nevertheless clatter search results. It could be also useful to have an ability to rate whole topic abandoned as well, to skip it in search results and in listings. The idea could be developed even further - topic with most abandoned ratings could be deleted if IPB have not registered any links to the topic either from Internet or from the forum itself.

Is it possible? At least personal ratings for threads?
