Default 1 hour on TV

If you were given an hour on television every day, what would you show during that hour?

I would probably do something like displaying videos of old games, so stupid people might understand how cool they are, instead of laughing at their graphics.

So, what about you?

I'm with R.u.s.s on this one, but I'd also include a few minutes of breakdancing robots at the beginning to lull everyone into a false sense of security, and just because I happen to like breakdancing robots.

I would have a Bill Nye the science guy type show.

I would do like 3 cool things then I would allow just ordinary people to submit videos. Because coming up with new and fresh ideas is hard for most people after a while. So why not make everybody happy and give them there 5 minuets of fame? But I would have to explain how it worked if they didn't say or were just extremely wrong. Then I could grade them I guess...

@Lulu_Jane

Robot Tacos with rocket launchers attacking the city are better.

I drew that because I have WAAAY to much free time...

I would channel the late Bob Homme and do my own version of "The Friendly Giant". Possibly using forced perspective to allow me to seem like a giant talking to children's entertainers and authors of children's books.

The show played on the fact that, to children, adults seem like giants.

It opened with the camera panning across a model landscape . . .

(paraphrased, the show has yet to be released on DVD and they stopped rerunning it years ago)

"Here we are out in the country looking at a dairy farm. There is the farmer's house. Next to it is the silo where food is stored, now we see the barn, and to its right we see a boot. But if you look up, waaaay up, you'll see me, The Giant.

"I'll run along ahead of you and have the drawbridge down and the gate open when you arrive.

Next we see a shot of a castle openning its gate and lowering its drawbridge, as the title music plays.

it was a sweet program that included some banter between Friendly* and his companions, Rusty the rooster and Jerome the giraffe, sometimes music played by the siamese kittens (often accompanied by Friendly and his recorder), or Friendly reading a story.

It ended with another sequence of the castle. This time closing the gates and raising the drawbridge. While this happens, a cow jumps over the moon.

Major childhood bliss recovery.

* the other characters gave the impression that Friendly was the friendly giant's given name.

Mr. Clean - the television show! Follows the adventures of the muscle-bound stalker as he pleases desperate housewives. Yes, it will be bloody, but then all the blood will be cleaned. Every episode will have a different style: film noir, anime, ascii animation, claymation, 'waking life'-esque animation, total pornography, melodrama, sitcom, reality show, game show etc.

I would show nothing to see how many people would wait for something to come up.
