Me and my friends spent weeks doing this game but somebody has completed the game (killed bowser) in 20 minutes!

There is a video of this on this page. The video is done all in one take (so he did do it) and he makes use of every shortcut and exploit in the game.

Also on that site is Half-Life in 45 minutes and loads of other games.

haha. the halflife in one hour is pretty funny. some crazy, crazy moves. BUT that movie is made from sections put together. he had to redo a lot of those difficult moves many times.
i didnt know there was a 45 minute one now?
its still cool though. the trick to bypass 'power up' level made me laugh out loud

PS

the most impressive game demos i ever saw were in MAME using .inp files

ghouls and ghosts arcade version beaten on one credit - no glitches or tricks.. just pure gaming skill!

Another World could be beaten in about 15-16 minutes. My own record reached 15 - almost - but never got there.

He's probably played it constantly for about 3 or four months. This amount of training gives him a good chance at doing so.

I think the record for all 120 stars is like 3 hours. I'd have to check the speed demos archive again.
