I agree with others, another TNG movie would be way, way better. And there is nothing which doesn't indicate that Data would be missing in the movie, it's only a question of redownloading his matrix memory from his clone in the Nemesis movie to a better body so it can react correctly again.
Is that even possible? I mean, just building a new Data. Afaik as I know Dr. Soong was the only person capable of building these robots. And he only build Lore, Data and Before (if that also was his english name). If it was possible for the Federation to build addtional "Datas" wouldn't be every ship equipped with one by the time of Nemesis?

Well, anyway, either they start anew with Before (which would really suck) or they'll just leave Data out.

It's just as rlbell already stated. The TNG players are just getting way too old for their roles. And I don't think all of the crew will stay on the Enterprise till they're all as old as Picard

You obviously are not a big fan of TNG Don Andy.

Data himself managed to create himself a daughter in the mid TNG serie, and she was called Lowe if I'm not mistaken (meaning Love in another language). She died after some time from a malfunction as she managed to overcome some of Data limitations and in the end she managed to "feel" basic feelings without the proper chip.

Considering the marvelous breakthru the Federation and Voyager get thru, it's extremely easy to assume they'll be able to create new Data's in no time. The main point would be that Data been recognized as a sentient life form thanks to Picard often given help on the matter, and they can't just build new Data's or Sung androids replicata and use them as robots or cheap workforce... They would need to treat them as a distinct race. I beleives that's already what was happening with Data.

So, to resume this... The only thing needed is the ressources and time to do it. In the ST universe, practically nothing is impossible given enough time.

I'm sooo sorry I forgot about one episode. Obivously I'm no fan of TNG, I'm so incredibly ashamed. I will go no and burn my Uniforms and my "How to learn Klingon in 3 lessons" book, I don't deserve them.

Well, Data created her and he's pretty much dead now. And I don't suppose Before would be capable of it anytime soon. Also she died, because Data wasn't able to build her a proper brain.

And while we're digging out old TNG episodes: If you take one of the early ones, it should be rather easy to build new Datas. Remember this doctor who lived alone on a planet with his assitant? He claimed to have teached Dr. Soong everything he knows, making him Data's "grandfather". After he died, he transferred himself into Data, wreaking some havoc and then finally have all of his knowledge transferred to a computer. There should be some plans how to build androids in there.

But since you didn't mention that, this makes you obviously no fan of TNG, shame upon you

Am I the only one who would like to see and DS9 movie? Cardassians are always good for a story, plus Sisqo getting back from that wormhole, or whatever has happenned in the end...
I would like to see Garak, cause IMO he's on of the best if not the best characters in Star Trek...

Some of the DS9 characters were great - Garak being one of them, also the Odo/Quark relationship was interesting at points (the interdependable enemies) - when Worf came to the series it became almost lame (although some good parts were still there - but the replacment of DAX was uncalled for.

I'm not sure if they could make a really interesting film with the DS9 cast. I'm afraid they'd mess it up like they did with most Star Trek movies. I think those double episodes were much better than any of the ST films made.

Possibly true, but there's one thing I'll never forgive to TNG, and that's Wesley

Why? There were some interesting plots with that (like when he was assigned his first mission - he had to be the leader of the team, but didn't know how to practice authority) - but many of them were just an attempt to teenify Star Trek (was there an idea of putting a boy band in Star Trek in order to get more girls to watch it or something).

I don't know I hated him, Sisqo's son was much more uhm, normal, also DS9 had more Ferengi, them and Cardassians are my favourite races in ST universe...

I prefer Romulans and I genrally dislike Ferengi, they're usually presented as little worms with nothing but a wish to stab you in the back to empty your pockets - Quark was the only Ferengi that actually had a personality.
