Mr Bean is rubbish, by the way; far too crude. There's much better British programmes. The Singing Detective, for example, was an excellent series, and so was YM/YPM.

I remember reading an article once (years ago) on a british newspaper that many british people do not like Mr Bean because he accurately (in some respects) portray them, and they don't like what they see.
I like some episodes of Mr Bean, but I wouldn't call it the best series. Blackadder is much better. IMO.

I agree with you that Blackadder's much better, especially the later episodes. (The first series was a bit crude, though.)
