Albion is Avatar?
I've noticed a good bit of plot and character similarities between Albion and the upcoming movie Avatar.
What do you think? The Movie http://www.avatarmovie.com/ The Game http://www.bluebyte.net/eng/products/albion/index.htm |

AVATAR = ALBION !!
Quote:
1.- Similar characters 2.- At night, the forests glow like seen in Avatar. 3.- Aliens in Albion can "connect" and change thoughts and so on like in Avatar (in Albion they use a special point in their forehead, not their tail) 4.- I remember Albion´s world was connected in some way, not sure if similar as Avatar´s connection.. 5.- James Cameron said he had the idea 15 years ago (or it was 14? ) which is the date when Albion come into the market. TOO MANY AVATAR IDEAS BASED ON ALBION !!! |

Question: Is this one of those games where enemies(the 'common' ones) respawn indefinitely, like say the Gold Box DnD games. Or is it like the Gothic games where enemies do not respawn at all?
Because in the first case, I'm gonna bother to get each of my characters to max skills via grinding the hell out of enemies. If it's the second, I'm gonna prepare myself for getting owned and getting owned bad repeatedly in the game. |

Bu.. bu.. but I'm scared!:laugh:
But you're right, I'll try to take my chances and see if I fuck up, if I do I can always come back and ask for help, or just fuck up until I get it right. Also, to those comparing Avatar's story to Albion, I hope you mean it's a lousy ripoff, because after the wow-effect of the great CG in Avatar wore out, I saw it for what it is, a sci-fi reintepretation of the story of Pocahontas with some "Dances with Wolves" thrown in. I hope Albion has a far more original and better developed story than Avatar, otherwise I'm in for a major dissappointment since I had been told this game has one of the best stories ever in an RPG.
