Hi guys,
firstly I want to special thanks to site owners and users.. This is a great job!

I am using DosBox 0.63 and D-Fend to run dos games at my Windows XP. Some games works well but someones make my head crazy!! For example, Cannon Fodder 1-2, this game runs well but THERE IS A SOUND PROBLEM!! There is no voice...

I searched some sites and found one answer: writing "loadfix -1" command when you are in DosBox. This solves the problem at Cannon Fodder 2, but nothing changed for Cannon Fodder1. Similar problems occurs for other games frequently. If someone gives me a solution way, I think most of D-fend users will profit from it..
Thanks a lot...

Try using VDMSound instead of D-Fend (which I'm not familiar with). It's the most popular soundcard emulator around.

experiment with your soundcard emualtion config in dfend. i havnt been unable to get a games sound working yet (depending on cycles obviosly) you jut have to try evry setting untill you find the right one, sorry that isnt more help. also if the game itself has a setup you sometimes need to run and tweak that.

Yeah, exactly. D-Fend is usually foolproof.

D-fend is not only the sound card emulator, it is also a graphic card emulator. In other words, it is complete emulator and works well. The Only problem is sound. If we can overcome this problem, I advise you all to use this problem but sound problem still hangs me...

I thought D-fend is only an add-on for DOSBox...

D-fend is a frontend.
it doesn't add any functionality

it only edits dosbox.conf and manages your games in a nice list for you.
