gmail is ok, only thing i don't like there is security - you can't send exe files or something like that. what's the point of 2GB mailbox if you can't fill even half of it? 2GB in text is something as long as "star war" book... at least 1000 times!

No one has ever tried sending you pictures? Or archives? Powerpoint presentations? Music files?

Most of the 600mb on my Gmail account come from image and music files sent by my friends and family. The old 5-10mb mailboxes filled up instantly when someone attempted sending pictures or some such.

That will not work... simply because it has the hability of check the content of a zip file, and if it finds a .exe file inside, it wont send it either.... However you can try it with rar, as it might work that way (I haven't tryed that option yet, as I use it mostly to send some "funny movies"... some with around 10 MB.... 20 "things" like that make about 200 MB, which is more than what regular mailboxes can handle :bleh: )

I tried it some time ago and you still can't make it work.
But almost all email-services block executable files. Gmail is my friend, and I use it regularly with great joy. Only one thing is annoying: you can't send spam automatically to the trash bin.
I already used 483 MB (18%) out of 2687 MB! Hah

there was such security that you can't send even zip if it contains an exe!
