I cant get it to run in dosbox.. im starting to feel computer illiterate.

You might want to check out the official DosBox FAQ, and particularly this part of it

nice that you have this but you can't read any of the in-game text - all comes out gibberish.

Wow, I remember playing this when I was in grade school, on the library's computer.

The graphics seemed so much better then...

Still I'm really glad to have found it again, as it keeps popping up in my memory! Now I know not only did I not imagine the game, but I can still play it if I want to!

Maybe if you specified what have you exactly tried so far.
Did you read your readme? What about the FAQ on the DosBox site? If you haven't, read them both. More likely then not, you'll find a solution there.

Evertime I try to run it in dosxbox it gives me a bad image error. And yes I've read both of them.

I've tried running the _install.bat file in dosxbox but when i try to run the game by typing "mg" I get that error.
