i downloaded this and it kept on asking me to insert disks, what do i do, i had this ages ago but i sold the machine i played it on, i really wanna play it again

Truly a beatiful and atmospheric game. Too bad it's also really short. :/

The game that got me hooked on games and is responsible for the trainwreck of a person i am now. Exellent game, was like 10 when i first finished it.

I have the cd version and it is great. The music is awesome. Can't imagine playing the game without it. I also had a book with a bunch of spells. I think you need that to beat the game. I did beat this game but never did beat Monkey Island.

I have the old version that I got off of the actual floppy disks. I used to play it all the time on an old computer that only had DOS. In fact, I'm playing it right now. It's minimized. I copied the disks and burned the data to a cd. It's the old version without the speech. I've never played any other version. The only trouble I had was getting the book of patterns. I have it now, though. The game only took about 2 megabytes.
