Laptop Repairs
During the last month my Laptop's LCD screen has been slowly going to the land of the dead and last weekend it fully died.
The Issue. The LCD itself Does lit up (oddly but it's giving light), and when you hook it up on an external monitor you will see the laptop itself is functioning normally. So today my Laptop is "going to meet his maker". This means my Laptop is going to GERMANY to be fixed. In the meanwhile I'm going to be stuck with the school desktops and (If VERY lucky) WiFi nicking on my own Desktop PC @ Home. But chances are that I won't be online much till my Laptop is fully fixed and Back HOME. Which can take between a few days to *shrug* a few weeks. (don't know it actually) So. See ya When I'm around and wish my Laptop the Best of luck. (He needs it. I don't) *PS my apologies for bad spelling, but I just HATE the IE6 they have on these damn School PC's.

It suits you for buying something that's not made in China like everyone else. Quality man, quality.

Looks like the LCD backlight is dead.
Isn't there a laptop repair center in the Netherlands?

Just got my laptop back after i managed to get Vista to boot into a bluescreen
Apparently the GPU (or some other graphic-component) fried when i installed an update for Civ4 (....). The repairplace replaced the MB and WLAN.. All free of charge since i had 8 days left on the 2 yr warranty

No. It Ain't the Backlight. (The only thing it did WAS giving light)
Most likely it's a damage part that controls the video DATA sent to the LCD Yeah. Was surprised the little bugger was going to be sent to Germany. Maybe they only have the right spare parts THERE for this 2.5 year old model. I WANT MY LAPTOP!!! >_< >_< (It's STILL there) Anyways. Thanks for your support guys.
