Well, first of all I could be a beta player of it. (I am not).
I don't have to play a game to know if I like features of it. I've been playing computer games for 20+ years, I can make an educated guess. There are simply features of it that I hate, as simple as that.

P.S. When the first time I heard that Max Payne 2 won't be released because the company got bankrupt I almost died. But when it came back, the Payne sparkle was lost forever...

They never started work on it (as far as the public knows) and they never even announced it.

I didn't even know Sam and Max 2 was going to come out. Number 1 was soooo auwsome!

But I would have to say the unfinished X-COM game that had super 3D graphics!! I can't even remember the title... jsh...

Yes, that was extremely sad when it occurred, but Lucasarts lost the management folk who believed strongly in great adventure games years ago. The fact that they even added Sam & Max2 to their calendar for a while was, to me, surprising. Isn't it being worked on separately, now? I keep hearing rumors, but I discount these 99% of the time.

As I said, an unknown company named Bad Brain was negotiating with LucasArts to buy the rights to Sam & Max but those talks failed. Supposedly the creator of Sam & Max has the license again and he said he is willing to create a game... but other than those few quotes in an interview nothing concrete has popped up.

I have to say I am not so sure a sequel to Sam and Max would sell very much. Then again, who knows.

I agree, because today's gamers are not into adventure games anymore. They want everything that involves a multiplayer mode.
