Sadly, I live in the rural south of my country, meaning all of the hard-core crazies live next door. But actually some people say that.

I need to move to New England LOL

Well if you live in such an area, do you even dare to write something like that? I hope you don't get attacked by the Clan for your blasphemist thoughts :bleh:
OK - enough (I'm out for the night anyway).

Maybe too off topic, maybe too much flaming in the earlier posts, good question...

Religion was closed by Data after it had been inactive for a while and I added a large post. I guess he felt that my post was different enough but on topic enough to constitute a new thread. Thus, Religion was closed and "The Great Flood" was opened.

But there is one major flaw I find in this story - and this one would be a major flaw back in the biblical days as well!
The story explicidly says the only people that survived the flood were Noah's family. And since people can reproduce only in one manor, they had practice INCEST (interbreathing - and in extre amount of times) because they menaged to repopulate the WORLD!
There's the same problem with the adam and eve thing.

but this is not about incest, so let's not get this closed.

read THIS

I found it extremely fascinating, and there is a lot of proof in here, clearing up the mixing up of facts many of you have done. I know it's long, but it is really really interesting. Check it out.

It is long indeed, interesting read, it's interesting to see different cultures have similar interpretations, I still think the flood is true though, guess it's just the way it's seen sometime in terms of belief and your loyalty to it.
