I once came upon a page like that - you chose the specs of your motherboard from several dropboxes and it searched its database for info. Can't find it now, and I could really use it at the moment to identify a motherboard I have purchased a few days ago.
PS. It was not www.motherboards.org - this I am sure of. |

How can you ....how is it possible to have purchased something and not know what it is? Check the manual or the box? The (don't remember the right term right now) system info when you first power up your pc?

You sure it's not mobo's.org? There IS an online mobo-checker there as a matter of fact...

Caged: Yeah, I've used the Everest in the end to identify the thing, but I hoped for something that will allow me a quick check of the specs from where I am currently - several kilometers away from the machine in question. |
