Greetings.

The adlib music archive was just updated today. For those not aware, the archive is the only place on the internet to find custom-ripped soundtracks from IBM-PC (DOS) games which use the Ad Lib sound card. When you want to listen to the music, you can download the FREE AdPlug player, which is available for DOS, Windows and Linux. Following is a list of what's new @ the adlib music archive:

NEW SOUNDTRACKS
Cruise for a Corpse (11 songs)
Dune II: The Building of a Dynasty (33 songs)
Ghostbusters II (9 songs)
Grand Prix 500 2 (1 song)
Lethal Weapon (1 song)
Lost Vikings, the (6 songs)
Monopoly Deluxe (1 song)
Operation Wolf (7 songs)
Supaplex (1 song)
Test Drive III: The Passion (5 songs)
Trog (5 songs)
Viz (2 songs)

UPDATED SOUNDTRACKS
Arkanoid: Revenge of DoH (1 song added)

This was my "mega-update" for early 2005, so it will probably be a while before the archive is updated again. Please come by and enjoy all of the musical goodness. I work hard on each rip, so you'll find nothing but quality.

Visit the adlib music archive. :Tom:

The adlib music archive is hosted by Home of the Underdogs and is a listed affiliate of that website. I like to think of it as a "plug-in website", if you will, since HOTU provides the games and I provide the music from them.

I would rather outside websites not host my custom-ripped adlib soundtracks, but Abandonia is more than welcome to add a link to the adlib music archive. Though I like the Abandonia website and hope it continues to grow and flourish, I have everything I need and the adlib music archive is already doing well enough. I don't really have need for any kind of "deal" at the moment.

Thanks for your interest, Omuletzu. Did you download & listen to any music? If so, I'd like to know what game it was from...

Not exactly. Everyone already knows about Home of the Underdogs, so there's no need for me to advertise it. Omuletzu asked if I wanted to partner with Abandonia, I explained why I didn't. Simple as that. The only advertisement was for the adlib music archive, my project, and only because it is so related to what Abandonia does, and I figure many people would be interested to visit and get some nice game music.

I'd figure, there's always someone who wants to start some trouble, though. It's so common in today's modern cyberspace, it's almost sickening. So did you visit the archive, Titan, or did you just want to open your mouth and complain about my post?
