For those looking for the manaul, go to gamefaqs.com and search for it. You'll find a few FAQ's which explain everything you need to know about it. I realized alot of my assumptions were wrong until I looked up the info. For instance, low moral causes less damage, but the troops will never leave until you run out of money. Anyway, look there for FAQ's on a lot of the games on this site.

im new here and having trouble with getting the games to work, kings bounty has a xp logo next to it so i figured it wold run however i get some sort of dos erro when i attempt to run the exe from the rar file, if ne one can tell me what i am doing wrong that would be great. btw i installed the dosbox program and am having no luck with it so i figured i would stick to the games that say xp, but kings bounty wont run either.




seems like a fantastic site, hope i can get some of the games to run.

this game is great but how do you deleat some files of it so i can start new ones

Played it on the C64 too and even spent $50 to buy a fast load cartridge as the game crashed when you'd buy a catapult if you didnt have it. Was well worth it though.

This game is whacked compared to the Sega version (I recently discovered the beauty of emulators) Sega version music is cool. But play is harder coz combats can't be avoided... but is good. But seriously people Sega > All

Hey people! Anybody out there to beat my high score ? I offer

51960 points with but 110 followers killed (2 dragons died against Urthrax, 108
demons, giants and dragons died against Arech. Sorceress, impossible difficulty)

I reckon 52400 would be the theoretical maximum score but it seems to be
impossible to beat the last two villains without suffering casualities.

In order to offer something useful besides showing off two nice hints:

My winning team against old arech:
-----------------------------------------
About 50 Dragons (general sucking and first punishment absorbing crew)
A clone troop of Giants (never mind their moral, they, too, absorbed
a lot of punishment)
A clone troop of Archmages (First Fireball finished off the demons, second
the vamps)
A clone troop of demons (I HAD a lot of luck with their "half" attack)
A clone troop of elves (great even with morale low)
1 Turn Undead (first battle round) and some Resurrection spells.
In preparation one single Raise Control (Could'nt buy more... I thought
for a long time that each spell is represented in at least one town. But
I was mistaken here)

Desser crossing:

It is possible to pass desserts without losing time. Just use a time stop
spell. True, it will lose it's power once you step on the sands, but no
day will be lost. Simply cast another time stop and move on one more step.
Costs you 200GP per step but it saves time on continentia, forestria and
especially saharia.

General strategy:
--------------------
The earlier post about rushing through the continents before exploring them
and returning to continentia with much too much leadership and high end
troops to pester poor Murray is fine. Play the game this way if you do not
mind unbalanced battles.

:blink: Same Question :blink: , just HOW do you DELETE savegames???. I have found no reference to it in the "Manual" ( :ranting: which by the way is down at the moment :angry: (observation made March 16 2006)). Somebody once told me there is a way but I will be hanged if I can remember how. :eeeeeh: Does ANYONE out there know?? Or is this a lost cause :Titan: ?? I have an old Amiga image of the game, but all the slots are filled and I can't figure out how to start new....The savegames HAVE to be deleted, but I can't find the right keboard buttons/commands to use so I can't start fresh.

Can someone tell me how to sail to another continent ?

I did as the manual says :

I found the map of Forestia on Continentia.
I get on a boat.
I try to get out of the map but nothing happens ... only I get stopped at the border of the map and no so called Continent menu appears.

Any help appreciated thanks.
