I like that game a lot, but then when I downloaded it and realised that the PC version was different from the Sega version I played when I was young, I did not even bother playing. What fun can there be from walking around in a 9 square big map and being able to avoid encounters?
No fun at all. |

Don't care for any reviews, but I have a little tip for all who wanna play the game:
Don't bother searching the entire continent. As soon as you find the passage to the next world/continent - go there. Avoiud confrontations and get to the 4th land as soon as possible. There buy some of the really strong creatures (dragons are useful!!!). Now go back to the first world and see, how you can beat any number of peasants with a single dragon!!! Oh and one more thing - if you only control creatures that have flying - you can fly yourself! Just press fly and the horse will change into a dragon and you can fly around. Just don't forget, before touching the ground again, you must tipe land - and gone is the draco - back is the horsie! |

The Manual is totally wacky! It says that the sorceress is the hardest, however considering that leadership can easily be improved by giving money to peasents when u find a chest and spell power cant really be improved, I'd say its the easiest.
In fact the barbarians pretty easy too because its got the quickest advancement, but the knight(which according to the manual is the easiest) is really the hardest since it has the slowest advancement which makes a huge difference. Oh and it doesn't say in the manual but i think that there is a boost to soldiers efficiency when they have high morale, or if anyone knows, how does an armies morale affect the game? |

Higher moral means they'll fight better (among other things). If the moral is too low they turn on you - because you start loosing leadership.

I have Only played this game on Sega Megadrive...
I have the emulator and the rom now... I have completed the game in hard mode... will do a try soon in "impossible" mode... I have a question though: Can Morale be ANYTHING else but Low or Normal? And HOW do you achieve "HIG" morale if there is any? I don't think there is much of a difference the Difficulty level you choose in the Sega version... The ONLY difference are that you get fewer days to complete the game... But since you can buy a LOT of "Time Spells" you can stop time almost UNLIMITED time... :-) Have YOU noticed any difference in difficulty? /Fidel Méndez, Sweden :-) |

No difference really - just that maybe the froces you fight are slightly larger.
If I rcorrectly there's another level for morale - high, and you only achieve it if you win a lot of fights with little to no losses. |
