I can get games to work like Grand Prix & constructor with DOS BOX but they run in a tiny window. is it posable to run the games in full screen?

Yes. Check the very beginning of DosBox.conf.
You can set a lot of other graphics-related stuff there too - have fun experimenting (don't worry, all is clearly labeled).

Or you might be referring to Alt + Enter.

I tried both ( alt + enter and set the full screen value to true) , the game runs fine in a window, but when it goes full screen it lags. Whats the problem? Do i gotta increase the cycles?

Yess..

You can increase with the following combination:

CTRL (read: Control) + F12



To decrease


CTRL + F11


It's that easy

That's odd, since the games should run better in the fullscreen then window.

Try increasing cycles, yes, but as a whole this seems a bit unusual.

The game should run better in fullscreen but there will not allow emegent programs from windows to be runned fine. So if you are making sdome system check the fullscreen will be problematic.

Yep, but it's supposed to be default that you close any and all software running in the background when you start DosBox. Or isn't it?
